CVMRC 12th Annual Model Railway Exhibition
Our annual exhibition made a welcome return on Saturday September 17th when 16 layouts and displays entertained members of the public at Willand Village Hall.
Once again children were able to drive the trains on "Soldor" and for those who enjoy a challenge shunted wagons on "Shunting Puzzle"
In addition there was a grand display of static models from the Tiverton Model Engineering Society illustrating the range of scales available and showing that even a small area could accommodate a model railway layout.
This years trade support was from Harvey's Hobbies (show sponser) who had an extensive range of locomotives and rolling stock available at competitive prices.... As it is thirsty work watching the trains go by the cafe was kept busy throughout the day selling tea, coffee, bacon rolls and delicious cakes all served up by our hard working volunteers.
